Squire Patton Boggs has advised AIM quoted Sopheon plc, a leading provider of Innovation Management software solutions, in connection with its c.£115 million recommended takeover by IOps Buyer Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Wellspring Worldwide Inc., a portfolio company of technology-focused private equity firm Resurgens Technology Partners. The transaction was implemented by means of a Court sanctioned scheme of arrangement under the UK Companies Act 2006.
The multipractice team advising Sopheon plc was led by Equity Capital Markets partners Hannah Kendrick and Louise Barber and included Corporate associates Tom McClusky and Halaina Tak and Patrick Ford and Alice Jenkinson from the firm’s Tax Strategy and Benefits group working with other specialists across the firm handling competition, UK NSIA, pensions and US securities law matters.
