Squire Patton Boggs’ Atlanta managing partner Petrina Hall McDaniel has been named among the Atlanta Business Chronicle’s 2024 “Women of Influence.” The list recognizes the most influential businesswomen from every industry and profession in metro Atlanta.
Ms. McDaniel, who also co-leads the firm’s Class Action & Multidistrict Litigation Practice and serves as vice chair of the firm’s global Women’s Affinity Network, specializes in high-stakes commercial cases and class action defense, including defending consumer and privacy class actions in state and federal courts across the country, including appellate and arbitral fora. Chambers USA has described Ms. McDaniel as a “phenomenal” lawyer who is “innovative in the legal arguments she makes while also giving real practical solutions to business problems.” Her record of accomplishment of securing dismissal of individual and class claims and negotiating favorable settlements has earned her recognition by Chambers USA (Band 1), Best Lawyers in America, and Super Lawyers in Business Litigation and Class Action Defense, among other achievements.
Ms. McDaniel is also deeply committed to both her professional and local communities, with a special focus on expanding educational opportunities for underrepresented students. In addition to her volunteer and non-profit board service in the community, she currently endows and funds the Empowering Excellence Scholarship Award and WorkWise Scholar Award for the benefit of students enrolled at the Georgia State University Honors College and College of Law, respectively.
“I am deeply honored to receive this recognition and am grateful to be part of a community that supports and celebrates the achievements of women across a spectrum of industries,” said Ms. McDaniel. “I am inspired by the work we do every day to help our clients thrive and by the incredible talent and leadership within our firm.”
