Squire Patton Boggs Advises Oraxys on Investment in Alyce

Squire Patton Boggs has advised European private equity fund Oraxys Environment 2 SCA in its investment in Alyce, France's leading provider of mobility data collection, processing and enhancement services, alongside Alyce’s founder, Ismaël Hachem, and top management. The investment is to develop the international growth strategy of Alyce and boost new services based on its Artificial Intelligence.

The Squire Patton Boggs team in Paris advising Oraxys was led by Maxime Dequesne, assisted by Lilia Ammar and Inès Khanfir in Corporate, Estelle Vernejoul, Angélique Charrier and Alice Baril in Real Estate, Pauline Pierce and Romane Vernier in Labour & Employment, and Stéphanie Faber in Data Privacy, Cybersecurity & Digital Assets.

Private equity firm Oraxys specializes in financing growth capital and buyout activities for companies that develop and market environment-friendly products or services in connection with Oraxys’ three environmental impact pillars: nature preservation, resource efficiency and health.

Alyce specialises in the collection and processing of mobility data, working in particular for local authorities and other large-scale operators. With offices in Paris, Lyon and Toulouse, Alyce pioneered the shift to digitalization in its field six years ago. Since 2018, Alyce has tripled in size, with continued growth in the number of assignments. The company now offers innovative hardware and software solutions developed in-house, based in particular on video image processing, signal processing, and artificial intelligence.
