Squire Patton Boggs has advised Kiloutou, one of Europe’s largest construction equipment rental companies, on its acquisition of Froid Loc Services, a company specializing in the rental and sale of cooling systems, air conditioners and air handling units.
The team advising Kiloutou was led by partner Anthony Guillaume assisted by Victor Dransard, associate.
This new transaction is part of an established relationship with Kiloutou. Squire Patton Boggs has previously assisted the Kiloutou group on multiple acquisition in France and across Europe.
Founded in 2023, Froid Loc Services is a fast-growing company based in the Paris region recognised for its expertise in the supply of mobile thermal equipment for the energy, industry, services and events sectors. It offers a range of high-performance equipment, including chillers with power ratings up to 660 kW, air conditioners and air handling units, as well as a range of services (installation, commissioning and maintenance).
The Kiloutou Group is present in seven European countries (France, Germany, Denmark, Spain, Italy, Poland, Portugal), employing 7,000 team members in a network of 600 branches. It offers over 400,000 customers (building and civil engineering companies, craftsmen, SMEs, local authorities, industry, energy and services, events and private individuals) more than 350,000 items of equipment. This latest acquisition reinforces the diversification strategy pursued by Kiloutou in recent years and paves the way for the French subsidiary to specialize in the supply of cooling and heating solutions.
