Global law firm Squire Patton Boggs has advised Tarmeez Capital, a leading Saudi-based private debt investment platform, on a strategic transaction in which Tali Ventures, the venture capital arm of stc Group, has acquired a minority stake in the company.
This investment marks a significant milestone for Tarmeez Capital as it continues to scale its debt investment solutions and expand its reach within the Kingdom’s rapidly evolving financial ecosystem. Tali Ventures’ support will help accelerate Tarmeez’s mission of delivering flexible, Shariah-compliant financing options to underserved segments of the market, including SMEs and emerging enterprises.
The transaction comes at a time of rapid expansion in Saudi Arabia’s corporate debt market, which reached SAR 140 billion in 2024. and aligns with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 initiative to deepen and diversify the Kingdom’s capital markets and foster innovation across the financial services sector.
Squire Patton Boggs acted as legal and regulatory counsel to Tarmeez, the firm’s team was led by partner Murad Al-Toukhi and associate Faisal AlZamil, both based in the Riyadh office.
