Eissenstat Talks Trade with Bloomberg and the CBC

On the day when a wide-ranging set of new tariff rates on goods imported from numerous countries into the United States went into effect Squire Patton Boggs partner Everett Eissenstat, who previously served as National Economic Council Deputy Director, joined Bloomberg Surveillance to discuss ongoing negotiations with countries, including India and Switzerland, and the usage of secondary sanctions.

Eissenstat also appeared on the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation’s Power & Politics program to discuss the recent imposition 35 percent tariffs on non-CUSMA compliant goods and ongoing trade negotiations between the US and Canada.
