Squire Patton Boggs has hired barrister Adina Ezekiel as partner in its international Government Investigations & White Collar (GIWC) Practice Group in London. She joins from the Investigations and White Collar team at Paul Hastings. Senior associate Tom Hickey will also join her from Paul Hastings on 6 October.

Ms. Ezekiel is an experienced lawyer specialising in UK and international investigatory and white collar crime work. Representing both individuals and corporates, she focuses on cases concerning bribery and corruption, investigations, public law, mutual legal assistance, diplomatic immunity, extradition, sanctions and AML issues. She has significant experience interacting with a wide variety of government agencies in the UK and in other jurisdictions. Ms Ezekiel has been recognised in Chambers & Partners 2025 for her work in Financial Crime: High Net Worth Individuals.
After qualifying in 1997, Ms. Ezekiel practised at the independent bar for 22 years as a criminal barrister, prosecuting and defending in criminal and related cases, including corporate crime and investigations, criminal litigation including terrorism, judicial review and habeas corpus and appellate work. Ms Ezekiel also sits as a Recorder in the Crown Court, hearing jury trials, sentencing defendants, and dealing with applications including restraining and restraint orders.
Mr. Hickey has a wide range of experience acting for both individuals and companies on high-profile investigations by UK and international enforcement agencies, on issues such as bribery, corruption, fraud, money laundering, sanctions and tax evasion. He has particular expertise conducting internal investigations for clients in the life sciences and pharmaceutical sectors. He was recognised as an Associate to Watch in Chambers & Partners 2025.
