Safwan Al-Amin is an associate in the Litigation Practice Group, with a focus on complex civil litigation.

Prior to transferring to the Washington DC office, Safwan was based in the Dubai office, where he advised international and regional clients across sectors including government, oil and gas, natural resources, defense and aerospace, food and beverage, and others. He is fully fluent in both English and Arabic and is licensed in the District of Columbia, the state of New York and the Republic of Iraq.

Before joining the firm, Safwan practiced at international law firms in Dubai, where he advised on a wide range of regional corporate and regulatory matters. He has also advised on constitutional, administrative and legislative matters in Iraq and was ranked by Chambers & Partners – Global Guide as a “leader in their field” of Iraqi law.
