Safwan Al-Amin is a Corporate associate in our Dubai office. He has extensive experience advising on cross-border mergers and acquisitions, energy projects, joint ventures and regulatory, corporate and commercial matters in the Middle East, including a special focus on the United Arab Emirates, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and Iraq. Safwan advises international and regional clients across sectors including government, oil and gas, natural resources, defence and aerospace, food and beverage, and others. He is fully fluent in both English and Arabic and is a licensed attorney in the state of New York and the Republic of Iraq.

    Prior to joining the firm, Safwan practised at international law firms in Dubai, where he advised on a wide range of regional corporate and regulatory matters. He has also advised on constitutional, administrative and legislative matters in Iraq and was ranked by Chambers & Partners – Global Guide as a “leader in their field” of Iraqi law.
