Hidetoshi Asakura works with Japan-based and US-based companies, focusing on the legal issues involved in US-Japanese commercial and financial transactions.

He advises clients with respect to general corporate law matters, joint ventures, technical licensing, securities law, antitrust law, mergers and acquisitions, real property transactions and international dispute resolution matters.

Hidetoshi has lectured on a variety of business topics including US mergers and acquisitions, real property transactions, US antidiscrimination laws and international dispute resolution matters.

As an adjunct law professor at the University of Tokyo Graduate School of Law and Politics between 2005 and 2010, he taught international contract law.

Hidetoshi is a member of the Daiichi Tokyo Bar Association. His status with the State Bar of California is inactive.
