Elleni Avila assists clients on a range of corporate and financial services matters. She has worked on transactional projects for both public and private companies in a variety of industries, including banking, private equity, consulting, technology, insurance, manufacturing and renewable energy. She advises clients on M&A transactions, debt financing, corporate governance and securities matters, unclaimed property audits and voluntary disclosures, and regulatory insurance matters.

Elleni attended Cornell Law School, where her courseload overlapped with the graduate MBA program, and ultimately received her J.D. with a concentration in business law and regulation. She was actively involved in law school, serving as the secretary of the Latino American Law Students Association and the secretary/treasurer of the Sports and Entertainment Law Society. Additionally, Elleni served as an online editor for the Cornell Journal of Law and Public Policy and as a student ambassador for the Department of Admissions.

Prior to law school, Elleni was a professional dancer and arts administrator in New York City. She was represented by one of the leading dance agencies in both commercial dance and musical theater. Additionally, she worked in the Educational Programs Department at one of the preeminent professional dance studios in the country.

She graduated magna cum laude from The Ohio State University in 2015 with a bachelor of arts in arts management and a bachelor of arts in psychology (dual degree). Elleni was a student-athlete on the nationally ranked Ohio State Dance Team and worked for The Ohio State Department of Athletics.
