Stephan Bär
Associate
Stephan Bär is an associate in our Litigation Practice Group based in Böblingen. He advises and represents national and international clients in commercial litigation and extrajudicial proceedings with a particular focus on complex international product liability disputes in the automotive industry.
Prior to joining the firm in 2017, Stephan worked with leading international law firms in the fields of dispute resolution and D&O insurance law in Düsseldorf. During his legal clerkship, he also worked for the Permanent Representation of Germany to the UN Organizations in Rome and for a German/South African law firm in Cape Town.
- Acting as coordination and defense counsel in complex domestic and international product liability disputes in the automotive sector.
- Defense of US product liability cases/class actions in the automotive sector with a focus on e-discovery and witness preparation.
- Acting as defense counsel in an international software defect dispute.
- Conducting interviews with whistleblowers as part of an internal investigation.
- Advising on liability regarding a complex D&O claim.
