James Bradshaw is an experienced corporate lawyer specialising in mergers and acquisitions. He provides transactional advice to corporates, investors and entrepreneurs on acquisitions, investments and venturing, disposals and joint ventures.

James qualified as a lawyer in 2012 at a major international law firm. He has since practiced in London and in the Middle East and has significant expertise in advising on international and multijurisdictional transactions across a range of sectors and business cultures.

James has particular experience in the aviation, airport services and logistics sectors and in transactions across the MENA region.

  • Advising Australia-based Linfox Group on the sale of its secure logistics and valuable cargo handling business to Etihad Airways.
  • Advising Cavotec on the sale to US-based industrial technology investor Fernweh Group of its airports division, comprising the manufacturing and supply of airport ground service equipment, fuel hydrant systems and aircraft supply systems for power, pre-conditioned air and water.
  • Acting for a Chinese conglomerate on its acquisition of a majority stake in a chemical products manufacturing business in Saudi Arabia from Tadawul-listed Takween Advanced Industries.
  • Acting for Williams F1 on the sale to GKN of Williams Hybrid Power, a significant business division developing kinetic energy recovery systems originating from F1 and other motorsport applications.
  • Advising US-based Hackman Capital Partners on a £250 million development capital investment into Greystones Media Campus, one of the largest film and television production studios in Europe.
  • Advising the shareholders of a data analytics and business intelligence consultancy operating across Europe and the Middle East on its merger with a global IT services group.
  • Acting for a GCC-based retail group on the acquisition of operational assets from a consortium of private equity and high net worth investors.
  • Advising Getinge AB, a Swedish listed medical technology company, on its acquisition of a UK-based specialist equipment provider.
  • Advising the shareholders of two Dubai-based events businesses on the simultaneous sale of a majority stake in each to a French listed events management company.
  • Advising on the partial sale of Promedex, a medical devices distributor headquartered in Saudi Arabia, to a leading Middle East healthcare investor.
