Robert Bray is a partner in our Corporate Practice based in the London office. Robert has a wealth of experience covering all aspects of cross-border and domestic corporate work, including private equity and venture capital, mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures in a range of sectors including financial services, technology and fintech. Robert also provides general corporate advisory advice to clients.

Robert advises a wide range of clients, from early-stage technology businesses and owner-managed businesses to public limited companies (PLCs) and large international corporates.

  • Advising Ocorian, a portfolio company of private equity firm Inflexion, on its acquisition of specialist regulatory consultancy Bovill.

  • Advising the shareholders of Atkinson Bolton Consulting on its sale to Mattioli Woods plc.
  • Advising Coats Group plc on the disposal of its European crafts business to Aurelius.
  • Advising a consortium of investment banks (including BBVA, Barclays, BNP Paribas, Commerzbank, Credit Agricole, Credit Suisse, Goldman Sachs, HSBC, ING, JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley, RBC, Santander, Société Générale, UBS and Unicredit) in respect of the establishment and formation of a not-for-profit fixed income pre-trade information network (Neptune Networks).
  • Advising upon the establishment and formation of iSwap, a joint venture to create an electronic trading platform for interest rate derivatives between ICAP plc and a number of leading investment banks including Deutsche Bank, JP Morgan, Bank of America, Barclays and Citibank.
