Victoria Callicott has extensive experience leading on high-value domestic and cross-border contractual, corporate and commercial disputes across multiple sectors. These disputes include breach of contract claims, supply chain disputes, product defect claims, outsourcing disputes, warranty claims, business protection cases and fraud claims.

Victoria also helps clients resolve disputes through alternative dispute resolution, such as mediation, and advises clients on risk management, with a view to avoiding disputes escalating.

She has particular experience in the industrials sector with a focus on manufacturing and engineering, aerospace and automotive disputes. She also has significant experience in utilities and water sector disputes, leading two of the first disputes involving the Wholesale Retail Code through the courts and arbitration.

With a deep understanding of her sectors of focus, Victoria has successfully navigated her clients through challenging legal landscapes, providing pragmatic strategic advice and securing favorable outcomes in both the English courts and arbitration. Her experience managing complex, strategic and high-value cases demonstrate her capability in handling technically and commercially demanding matters.

  • Acting for an engineering company in the Edinburgh Tram Inquiry.
  • Managing and settling liabilities in various jurisdictions, as well as dealing with compliance concerns and ABC risks as a secondee at an FTSE 100 plc.
