Julian Ciecierski-Burns is a partner in our London Corporate and Private Equity teams.

    Julian has experience in a broad range of UK and cross-border corporate and private equity transactions, with a particular focus on technology.

    Julian's key areas of transaction focus are corporate sales, acquisitions and mergers; acting for private equity investors on investments and exits; acting for founders on company sales to trade and private equity; acting for management teams on MBOs and MBIs; equity fundraisings; joint ventures; partnerships, LLPs and limited partnerships; restructuring and corporate reorganisations; and complex corporate real estate transactions.

    Julian acts for clients in a varied range of sectors, including technology, fintech, media, financial services, real estate, retail and leisure.

    • Advised the senior executive team and employee shareholders of Quayle Munro on their sale to Houlihan Lokey.
    • Acted for Broadridge Financial Services, Inc (NYSE:BR) on several European acquisitions.
    • Advised the shareholders of Bullitt Group, a UK headquartered mobile device producer, on the sale of the company to Exponent Private Equity.
    • Acted for the sellers of Media iQ, a fast-growing digital marketing agency,  on the terms of an investment by ECI Partners.
    • Advised the shareholders of hometrack.co.uk on their sale to Zoopla Property Group.
    • Advised the founders and mangers of Edenhouse Solutions on their sale to ECI Partners.
    • Acted for the shareholders of FLYdocs on their sale to Lufthansa Tecknik.
    • Advised Wonga Group on its sale of Billpay GmbH to Klarna.
    • Advised the shareholders of MacDonald Humfrey (Automation) on their sale to L-3 Communications.
    • Advised Tenzing Private Equity on its acquisitions of Smoothwall and of FMP Global.
    • Advised Growth Capital Partners on its acquisition of the DMW Group.
    • Advised the shareholders of AppSense on their sale to LANDesk.
    • Advised the shareholders of 118 Group on their sale to Pricoa Capital Group.
