  • Assisting with preparing advice for a regulatory body on investigation mechanisms under local electricity market rules in consideration of potential action against the operator of a power station and an energy retailer.
  • Assisting with acting for an electricity retailer on a contractual dispute with a commercial customer regarding the quality and performance of a solar PV system supplied and installed by a subcontractor.
  • Assisting with proceedings before the Supreme Court of Western Australia for a claim of restitution, arising out of the disputed interpretation of an electricity trade purchase agreement.
  • Assisting with acting for a high-profile energy services provider on a contractual dispute in relation to the decommissioning of a floating oil production storage and offtake facility.
  • Assisting with acting for the ship owners and charterers in proceedings arising from a personal injury claim from a stevedore on board a vessel.
  • Representing a foreign national in penalty, appeal and debt recovery proceedings in matters relating to a breach of freezing orders following the enforcement of a foreign arbitral award.
  • Assisting with acting for a witness who was the subject of a subpoena in a high-profile defamation action in Supreme Court of Western Australia proceedings.
  • Assisting an industrial manufacturer with developing a risk and mitigation strategy for compliance with various competition law frameworks.
  • Acting for a property owner in drafting leases and access licences to allow for the development of construction of a wind farm on the property.
  • Assisting with settlements and conveyancing transactions for the Perth Hub residential apartment development.
  • Assisting with acting for institutional investor landlords in drafting and negotiating commercial office leases, lease variations and extensions and licences, as well as assisting with ongoing tenant management issues, including issuing tenant default notices and rent abatement notices.
  • Assisting with drafting hotel management agreements for branded residential and mixed-use developments in the Middle East and North America.
