Emma Connolly is a corporate and commercial lawyer who advises on corporate governance and regulatory matters; mergers, acquisitions and divestments; commercial contracts; capital raisings; and shareholder disputes.
Emma’s clients come from a broad range of industry sectors, including general industrials, infrastructure, technology, financial services, media and entertainment, and her experience covers working with both domestic and foreign registered clients, publicly listed and private entities, small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) and sole traders.
- Advising Mainetec Pty Ltd, a mining equipment manufacturer, and its shareholders, on its sale to Australian Securities Exchange (ASX)-listed Austin Engineering Limited.
- Assisting with the restructure of Aurex Group, a global recruitment agency, and advising on the restructure’s Australian component.
- Advising Secret Sounds Group on the acquisition of Kicks Entertainment Investments Pty Ltd.
- Advising Live Nation on the acquisition of Jubilee Street Management Pty Ltd.
- Advising Live Nation on the acquisition of Cult Artists Pty Ltd.
- Advising Ricardo Australia Pty Ltd on the acquisition of environmental and technical advisory business Inside Infrastructure Pty Ltd.
- Undertaking company registrations with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission ASIC).
- Assisting with maintaining ASIC registrations, preparing share transfer forms, consents and resolutions.
- Undertaking and managing due diligence in relation to acquisitions.
- Assisting with advising on a wide range of domestic and international corporate and commercial matters, including Foreign Investment Review Board (FIRB) enquiries, business structuring, shareholder arrangements, privacy policies, and terms and conditions of trade.
