Jessica Cuttriss assists trustee and employer clients on a wide range of issues in relation to both defined benefit (DB) and defined contribution (DC) pension schemes and is the day-to-day contact for several clients. Jessica sits on our national corporate transaction, ESG and data protection working groups. Jessica is an associate member of the Association of Pensions Lawyers.

Jessica qualified into the Pensions team in August 2021 after training with the firm. As part of her training, Jessica worked within the firm’s specialist pensions disputes team. Jessica was head trainee among her trainee cohort and is an active member of the firm’s charity, pro bono, gender diversity and social mobility initiatives. Jessica is also a mentor on BPP Law School’s Access to Practice programme. Prior to commencing her training contract, Jessica was a paralegal in the firm’s Real Estate and Restructuring & Insolvency teams.

  • Assisting in advising clients on a wide range of pensions issues affecting both DC and DB pension schemes. This includes scheme governance, member queries and communications, and drafting scheme documentation.
  • Advising trustee clients in connection with scheme advisor and service provider contracts.
  • Drafting and conducting reviews of key documentation required by data protection legislation.
  • Advising trustee clients in connection with disputes with scheme members.
  • Assisting in a number of corporate transactions providing pensions support.
