Andy Dixon
Associate
Andy Dixon is an associate in our Labour & Employment team. Andy is experienced in providing a full spectrum of employment law support, including litigating in the Employment Tribunal, providing HR advice for day-to-day matters as well as larger projects, and supporting our Corporate team, providing employment law assistance on mergers and acquisitions.
Andy is an active member of the Employment Lawyer’s Association Pro Bono Committee.
- Defending a number of Employment Tribunal claims against a Big Four supermarket in the UK, including claims for automatic unfair dismissal for whistleblowing, discrimination and ordinary unfair dismissal.
- Assisting clients in reaching a commercial settlement, including through judicial mediation where Andy undertakes his own advocacy.
- Undertaking vendor due diligence to prepare a multinational analytics company for share sale via auction.
- Undertaking buyer due diligence and advising on Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) (TUPE) risks in relation to the asset sale of an outdoor music venue.
- Undertaking a virtual secondment to a Big Four supermarket, providing HR and employment law advice as part of the in-house legal team.
- Advising a Big Four supermarket on the effect of the Working Time Regulations on rest breaks and holiday pay.
