Bryn Doyle is a partner and head of our Labour & Employment Practice in our Manchester office. Bryn has been an employment solicitor for two decades, with extensive experience is all areas of employment law.

Bryn’s particular expertise covers a wide range of employment issues, including the following:

  • High-stakes employment tribunal litigation (including equal pay, multiparty, multiclaim and high-value matters)
  • Advising clients on all aspects of discrimination, unfair and wrongful dismissal, harassment and victimisation, including board/senior employee issues and exits
  • Restrictive covenant and commercially sensitive breach of contract issues
  • All aspects of diversity, equity and inclusion, including pay equity
  • Complex domestic and international projects, including movement of people, hybrid and non-standard working practices together with all aspects of the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations (TUPE) and business transfer matters
  • People-related matters in corporate transactions
  • Large-scale reorganisations and redundancies
  • Investigations (both employer-led and independent)
  • Modern work practices (including confidential and highly sensitive matters such as harassment, victimisation and respectful behaviours in the workplace)
  • Training – from short bespoke and multiuse training options though to full and multiple-day training sessions on all employment law topics

Prior to moving into private practice, Bryn worked in-house within the legal team of a large multinational PLC. He brings this experience to forming his pragmatic and commercial approach to advising clients – bringing a calm manner and sensible, client-led solution to the people challenges faced by modern business.

Bryn is the co-chair of the Manchester Law Society Employment Law Forum and is a sitting member of the Manchester Law Society council.
