Andrew Fields is an associate in the Litigation Practice. He manages cases from filing to resolution through effective use of discovery procedures, motions, and negotiations with opposing counsel. Andrew has experience at all stages of litigation in suits both for and against private individuals, large corporations and government agencies. He has provided value to clients in products liability, healthcare, trademark, regulatory compliance, white collar, shareholder inspection defense and general business litigation matters.

    Andrew moved to Tokyo in October 2019, and is currently on secondment to a major Japanese trading company.

    • Defends multinational corporations with commercial, products liability and consumer warranty claims, and has litigated numerous cases in state and federal courts, including breach of contract actions, consumer protection cases, business torts, civil rights claims, shareholder derivative actions and products liability cases, among others.
    • Actively participates in and directs all stages of litigation on behalf of his clients. He advances clients’ interests through the implementation of aggressive and creative litigation strategy, as well as through pre-suit counseling, ongoing client education, alternative dispute resolution, settlement negotiations and trial preparation.
    • Defended and taken many depositions and has argued many motions in state and federal court.
