Charles Frost is the office managing partner of the Birmingham office and leads our Birmingham Labour & Employment Practice. He advises on all areas of contentious and non-contentious employment law on behalf of employers, and also for senior executives. Charles also has a former city background with the firm’s London office and has a wealth of experience in the financial services sector.

In relation to contentious matters, Charles has successfully resolved a number of high-value employment tribunal claims for his clients, including a particular expertise in highly sensitive sex discrimination claims, race discrimination claims, whistle blowing claims and equal pay claims.

On non-contentious matters, Charles specialises on TUPE matters and also regularly provides expert legal and strategic advice in relation to collective redundancies, change management programmes (including a particular expertise in relation to changes/closures to defined benefit pension schemes), equal pay advice, outsourcing and service provision changes, and also the Bribery Act 2010.

Charles has also acted for a number of high profile clubs and individuals in the football sector, including advice for both managers and Premier League clubs in relation to the negotiation, drafting and termination of first team managers’ contracts of employment.

Charles developed our Employment Law Cloud iPhone/iPod app, which has been a great success story and is available for free in the iTunes Store.
