Mark Gaffney is a partner in our Real Estate Practice based in Manchester. His particular expertise covers property development and regeneration, property joint ventures, public sector funding, leasing, management and portfolio transactions. Mark has acted for a number of public and private sector clients on major regeneration projects in England.
Mark is rated in both Chambers UK and The Legal 500 UK as a leading real estate lawyer in the north west of England. He is also listed in the most recent publication of the Best Lawyers in the United Kingdom.
- Acting for the landlord on the letting of over 200,000 sq ft of office space in Liverpool to a government department which is the largest single office letting ever to take place in Liverpool.
- Acting for a local authority on the acquisition, funding and development of a city centre gateway site.
- Acting for a local authority on the acquisition and lease back to the developer of two strategic city centre office development sites.
- Advising a developer on various acquisitions (including agreements with the local authority) in connection with the assembly of an 80 acre site in the north west of England for a major regeneration project.
