Livia Giordano

Livia Giordano is an associate in the Financial Services Practice Group. Throughout her training contract, she assisted on various regulatory matters, including compliance with regulatory rules and legislation in relation to the financial services sector in the UK. In addition, Livia has experience advising on the formation, regulation and ESG compliance aspects of various types of investment funds, including private equity, real estate and venture capital.
- Advising fund managers on compliance with ESG-related regulation, including SDR, SFDR and the Taxonomy Regulation.
- Drafting client advice on whether activities are regulated activities and the necessary permissions or authorisations required.
- Assisting with FCA registrations and notifications, including change in control applications.
- Advising clients on how to best comply with regulatory and legislative obligations.
- Drafting and/or revising appointed representative agreements to ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
- Assisting with the formation of fund and general partner entities.
