Marek focuses his practice primarily on corporate matters and transactions involving real estate projects, retail and technology companies.

    Since joining the firm, Marek has participated in a number of cross-border and domestic transactions, including not only acquisitions, but also complex corporate restructuring and refinancing.

    Marek has broad experience in advising clients on various corporate and financial matters and he also speaks Mandarin.

    During his studies, Marek spent one academic year at the East China University of Political Science and Law in Shanghai, where he enrolled in International Economic Law program. Later on, Marek also took a leave from legal practice and spent a year as a junior diplomat at Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where he graduated from the distinguished Diplomatic Academy.

    In 2019, he graduated from doctorate program (JUDr.) at Masaryk University in Brno, Czech Republic. In his thesis, Marek conducted a thorough analysis of selected legal aspects of autonomous driving.
