Ayah Ighneim is an associate in our Environmental, Safety & Health Practice Group, with a focus in litigation and motions advocacy. Ayah works closely with federal, state and local agencies to advance the interests of her clients.
At Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, Ayah served in a variety of leadership positions, including as vice president of the Arab Law Student Association, board member of the Public Interest Law Organization, and as executive editor of the Cleveland State Law Review, where she advocated in her note, “Protecting Our Pups at All Costs: Why Dogfighting Cases Require a Mandatory Restitution Assessment,” for Congress to pass stronger animal cruelty laws.
During law school, Ayah was an Arab-American Bar Scholarship recipient and, additionally, received Cleveland State University’s Law Alumni Association scholarship. She also served as a law clerk for the US Department of Justice in the department’s Criminal Division and Financial Litigation Unit.
