Jenny Jones is a senior associate in the Restructuring & Insolvency Practice Group in the Leeds office, providing both contentious and non-contentious advice to insolvency practitioners, companies, directors and creditors.

She has extensive experience in the field of corporate insolvency, including administrations, Law of Property Act receiverships, liquidations, associated distressed/insolvent sales, Company Voluntary Arrangements and insolvent property transactions.

Jenny also advises on complex restructurings and refinances, providing guidance to asset-based lenders, private equity providers and companies.

  • Acting for the administrators of Crawshaws Butchers, Ltd., a listed company with a turnover in excess of £20 million, on the sale of the business.
  • Acting for the buyer of the majority of the business and assets of Hewden Stuart, a specialist plant hire group with a turnover of approximately £80 million, from its administrators.
  • Acting for the administrators/liquidators of UK Coal Production Ltd. on an extensive portfolio comprising a broad spectrum of property, contentious and noncontentious insolvency advice.
  • Advising on LPA appointments and large property portfolio sales by both private treaty and auction in excess of £3.2 million.
