James Le Seelleur is an associate in the global Corporate Practice Group based in the London office. His practice includes advising on a wide range of corporate transactional work for both domestic and international clients on matters relating to private equity investments, private company mergers and acquisitions, and capital markets.

  • Advised a US-based international private equity firm on the £420 million disposal of a group of companies (based across Europe, the US and Asia) in the technology sector by way of auction process, and advising management on the rollover process and reinvestment into the platform.
  • Advised a South African private equity firm on the acquisition of a telecommunications business headquartered in the UK and with operations across Africa.
  • Advised the shareholders of a specialist medical professional insurance provider on the sale of their shares in their continued involvement in the business post-acquisition.
  • Advised private equity firm Actis on a variety of transactions across multiple funds (across Europe, Asia and South America) and at various stages of the investment cycle, from initial fundraising to exit.
  • Advised a large public company with a global agglomerate of SMEs on the renewal of its €50 million Dublin listed debt programme.
