Genevieve Mascarenhas assists clients with a range of employee relations-, industrial relations- and workplace health and safety matters, including employment contracts and employment award coverage; management of employee performance and workplace claims; developing workplace policies and procedures; and redundancies and terminations.
- Assisting with drafting employment contracts and determining the applicable awards covering employees at both federal and Western Australian state level.
- Assisting with drafting workplace policies covering whistleblowing, workplace health and safety, bullying and harassment, and grievance resolution.
- Assisting with advising on workplace health and safety obligations.
- Assisting with managing employee claims, including unfair dismissal, general protections, breach of contract, discrimination, and bullying and harassment claims.
- Assisting with managing employee performance, misconduct and redundancy.
- Assisting with drafting deeds of release in the context of workplace claims or employee separation.
- Assisting with due diligence in relation to the labour and employment aspects of business mergers and acquisitions.
