Kim McGrath is an associate in the Real Estate Practice Group based in the London office.

Kim’s principal experience is within traditional real estate work in commercial asset management. She has expertise in landlord and tenant matters, predominantly advising large portfolio landlords on all aspects relating to commercial leases.

Kim’s specialisms lie in real estate work concerning garden centres, as well as work for garden nurseries and garden centre retail concessions. For a large UK-wide garden centre provider, Kim acted on its substantial portfolio for several years, including assisting on its large portfolio disposal.

  • Acting on behalf of a developer client in the acquisition of a freehold site for £1.25 million with a view for residential and retail development of approximately £7 million.
  • Leading a review project to prepare a client for a full-scale portfolio sale, handling due diligence requests and reporting.
  • Acting for a well-known “quick service” restaurant chain in respect of the acquisition of a long leasehold property for approximately €1.9 million.
  • Acting for a well-known “quick service” restaurant chain in respect of its franchising work in the Republic of Ireland.
  • Acting for several clients regarding their garden centre portfolios.
