Jason O’Donnell leads our Real Estate Practice in Ireland. With over a decade of experience at the forefront of the Irish property market, Jason is widely recognised for his expertise in advising on some of the most complex, high-value real estate transactions in the country.

Prior to joining the firm, Jason spent over 10 years working in Tier 1/Band 1 real estate practices in Dublin. During this time, he built a reputation for delivering commercially focused, solutions-driven advice to domestic and international clients. His experience spans prime office, logistics, retail, leisure, residential and mixed-use development schemes, including cross-border portfolio deals and large-scale forward fundings.

Jason is known for his deep market insight and pragmatic approach. He regularly acts for institutional investors, developers, financial institutions and public bodies. His work frequently involves high-stakes negotiations, complex structuring, and coordination across multidisciplinary teams to deliver results on time and in budget.

  • Acting for a major US fund in the refinance and then sale of its portfolio of eight retail parks in Ireland.
  • Advising an Irish commercial semi-state body on the purchase of the Cookstown Gateway development, consisting of 204 apartments with ancillary commercial units.
  • Acting for an Irish commercial semi-state body in the acquisition of the Project Shoreline development site, which will yield up to 4,000 homes in North Dublin.
  • Acting for the owner of a new Grade A development at 60 Dawson Street, Dublin, in its office, leisure and retail lettings.
  • Acting for a major German fund on the acquisition of a large retail park in South Dublin.
  • Acting in the sale of a 300-bed purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) development on Aungier Street in Dublin.
