Íñigo Oliván García is an associate in the Corporate Practice Group, specialising in private equity and mergers and acquisitions (M&A), at the firm’s Madrid office.

He holds extensive experience in the sale and purchase of companies and assets, mergers and other corporate restructurings, advising on both the sale and purchase to industrial investors and to private equity firms.

He also provides recurring commercial advice on corporate and contractual aspects to various Spanish companies and international groups with a presence in Spain in various sectors, such as telecommunications, finance, property technology and energy.

Prior to joining the firm, Íñigo was part of the corporate and M&A practices of a Spanish law firm.

Íñigo speaks English and Spanish and is a member of the Madrid Bar Association.

  • Advised Ignis P2X (a KKR portfolio company) on the investment in the pioneering decarbonization Eco2Fly project.
  • Advised Hyperion (a KKR portfolio company) on the acquisition of TEMSA.
  • Advised Ignis P2X (a KKR portfolio company) on the investment in the pioneering decarbonization Eco2Fly project.
  • Advised Exosens on the investment in NVLS.
  • Advised Globant, a publicly-traded technology platform listed on the NYSE, on several acquisitions of Spanish tech firmsdvised HIG Capital on the acquisition of Grupo Ransa, a leading logistics company.
  • Advised Excom (a Formentor portfolio company), a Spanish telecommunications group backed by Formentor Capital and Kartesia, on the investment of Formentor Capital, as well as on the acquisition of more than 10 telecommunications telco operators.
  • Advised private equity firm fund manager ABE Capital Partners on its investment acquisition of a majority stake in Fanox, a manufacturer of protection relays for medium-voltage installations.
  • Advised venture capital fund Axon Partners Group on its investments in Libelium, a company specialising in Internet of Things, in Ideadero, in and Embention, a leading technology group in autopilot software and drone component manufacturing listed on Euronext Access, as well as on the acquisition of the Cañas y Tapas restaurant chain from the leading multinational group Alsea.
