Edoardo Perini
Associate
Edoardo is an associate in our Litigation practice group based in our Milan office. He provides legal assistance to multinational groups, commercial companies and individuals in Italy, dealing mostly with dispute resolution and arbitration.
He has experience in contentious and non-contentious matters, including contractual, commercial and business disputes, insolvency proceedings, civil liability and complex torts controversies. He has advised on litigation matters encompassing a wide range of areas, such as corporate, insurance, banking, energy and life science.
Edoardo also advises clients about tax litigation matters before tax courts and tax authorities within the areas of investigation, settlements and rulings.
Thanks to his experience as litigator, Edoardo advises both Italian and foreign companies in corporate transactions, corporate reorganisation and commercial contracts.
- Assisting a governmental authority of a Middle East state before Italian courts and the Italian Court of Cassation in a contractual dispute concerning a multimillion-euro supply and distribution agreement in the oil and gas industry.
- Assisting the government of a North African sovereign state before Italian courts in a multimillion-euro claim brought by an international bank institution.
- Assisting the government of a North African sovereign state before Italian courts in a series of contractual disputes against local employees and independent contractors.
- Assisting a large Italian energy production company in a series of disputes before Italian courts in a post-M&A dispute related to the breach of several R&Ws contained in the SPA by the sellers.
- Assisting a major Italy-based telecommunications company in a dispute concerning commercial and financial advisory services provided for in a contract entered into with a global financial services group.
- Assisting a major Italian state-owned company responsible for providing air traffic and other air navigation services in a dispute before the Italian Court of Cassation, arising from the lack of payment of fees of over €18 million for air traffic services provided to the counterparty in accordance with a number of memoranda of understanding and conventions entered into between the parties since 2002.
- Assisting a world-leading industrial thread manufacturer in diversified sectors in contentious and pre-litigation matters concerning distribution, supply and agency agreements.
- Assisting a primary Italian bank in relevant, complex and cross-border debt-collection proceedings before Italian courts.
