  • Advising a global offshore project developer in respect of the proposed offshore wind project in New South Wales, Australia, including advice on a feasibility licence application, foreign investment requirements and joint venture structuring.
  • Advising a bidder on a proposed acquisition of a gas storage facility and associated infrastructure, and an interest in gas fields in Queensland, Australia. Assisting Mitsui O.S.K. Lines Ltd with negotiations of a joint venture agreement in respect of construction and operation of liquified natural gas (LNG) carriers.
  • Advising a Singaporean commodity trading company on the prepayment agreement of crude oil from the gulf of Thailand.
  • Advising an Australian oil and gas company on a proposed initial public offering and listing on the Singapore Exchange, including due diligence in respect of its Australian assets and advice on risks associated with assets and regulatory changes.
  • Advising RATCH-Australia Corporation on due diligence in relation to refinancing of its Australian portfolio of gas fired power stations.
  • Advising an Australian company on a ship lift, repair and maintenance facility project in Darwin port, including advice on the environmental approval to operate the facility.
  • Advising a Japanese utility company on conversion of a long-term LNG supply contract from a delivered ex ship (DES) to a free on board (FOB) delivery and various other aspects related to renegotiating a secure LNG supply from the Sakhalin 2 project.
  • Advising Veolia, as the project sponsor, in respect of an approximately €1.3 billion public private partnership project relating to long-term operation, modernisation and management of the district heating network of Tashkent city, Uzbekistan.

  • Acting for an international engineering and construction company in a substantial International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) arbitration regarding claims arising out of the Ichthys Project in the Northern Territory.
  • Acting for a client in a dispute with the Commonwealth government arising out of the detention centre in the Northern Territory.
  • Advising an international engineering and construction company on a prospective adjudication response under the security of payment legislation in the Northern Territory.
  • Acting for a client in a disciplinary dispute with the Law Society Northern Territory.
  • Advising several construction companies in relation to Indigenous employment scheme dispute in the Northern Territory.
  • Acting in various disputes in NSW Courts.
  • Acting for a major Australian bank on large-scale discovery projects in response to inquiries from various statutory bodies.
