Jennifer Satterfield is an associate in the Environmental, Safety & Health Practice Group based in the Cleveland office. Jennifer’s practice focuses on regulatory compliance matters under environmental, consumer product, and automotive safety laws. She assists foreign, domestic, and multinational entities in achieving their goals, whether it is to successfully advocate before a government agency or market a new product in the US.

She has experience with several environmental statutes, including the Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) and Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA). Jennifer assists clients with environmental permitting, due diligence, and litigation.

In addition, Jennifer works with the Life Sciences Industry Group and advises clients on Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulatory matters. In particular, she has assisted clients with food, drug, and medical device recalls, as well as the labeling and marketing of cosmetic products in the US.

Jennifer also works closely with the firm’s Transportation, Infrastructure & Local Government Public Policy Practice. She has drafted applications for highway infrastructure projects with state departments of transportation (DOTs) and assisted clients with DOT procurement projects. Jennifer is familiar with National Highway Safety Administration (NHTSA) regulations and guidance, including Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS).
