Jameel Tarmohamed specialises in structured commodities trade finance. He has experience acting for banks, investors, corporates and traders up and down the global commodities supply chain in many emerging jurisdictions, as well as covering all forms of structured trade and commodity financings. This includes pre-export, pre-payment, inventory, limited recourse, borrowing base, receivables financings and repo and true sale transactions.

Jameel also advises clients on digital trade technologies and the application of these to their businesses. He is also very active in the carbon markets having advised several commodities clients in connection with their carbon credit transactions.

Further, he has in-depth restructuring experience gained from working on several global restructurings within the commodities market.

He has also spent time on secondment at BP advising on trade finance issues.
