Greg Wehrer is a trial lawyer with more than 20 years of experience successfully representing US and international corporations in complex commercial disputes before federal, state and local courts. He also serves as the managing partner of the firm’s Houston office.

    Greg focuses his practice on representing companies in contract disputes with customers or suppliers and in warranty or indemnification claims. Greg also has experience representing those clients in fraud/breach of fiduciary duty claims, construction matters and insurance coverage disputes. He frequently is asked to provide training to his clients on litigation avoidance strategies.

    Greg is a member of the Executive Committee for the Southgate neighborhood in Houston, and a member of the board of the Main Street Theater.

    • On behalf of a national managed care entity, obtaining dismissals of Texas lawsuits brought by a hospital over Medicare audits and reimbursements, and by an independent provider group over contracting issues.
    • Winning a major jury award in Texas state court for an energy industry client in a construction defect dispute against a general contractor.
    • Representing upstream oil and gas companies in JOA disputes.
    • Representing a major energy company in a statewide royalty class action, which settled on terms favorable to the client.
    • Representing a manufacturer of high pressure pumps as the plaintiff on a breach of supply agreement claim.
    • Defending a European industrial equipment manufacturer against breach of warranty and indemnity claims.
    • Defending the property owner and general contractor of an environmental remediation project against claims brought by a subcontractor.
    • Obtaining dismissal of all claims in a fraud and breach of fiduciary duty lawsuit related to the acquisition of a multimillion piece of Houston real estate.
    • Winning summary judgment on a significant insurance coverage dispute in Texas federal court.
