Sarah Wilkinson is a senior associate in the Labour & Employment Practice Group in the Birmingham office. Sarah trained at the firm and qualified as a solicitor in 2013.
 

Sarah advises on all aspects of contentious and non-contentious employment law. Her work includes advising businesses on day to day employment law issues; Employment Tribunal litigation; drafting and reviewing service agreements, settlement agreements and employee handbooks and corporate support work.
 
She has presented client employment law workshops and been involved in a number of client training sessions.

Sarah is actively involved in the pro-bono Birmingham Legal Advice Clinic and Business in the Community.

  • Assisting with an interim injunction application to prevent a director from breaching fiduciary and fidelity duties.
  • Acting for an employer in a TUPE claim brought by 13 claimants.
  • Assisting with a statutory recognition application made by a trade union in respect to a client in the financial services industry.
  • Assisting in a number of Employment Tribunal claims including unfair dismissal, breach of contract and discrimination claims.
  • Drafting the due diligence report and employment provisions in a Business Purchase Asset Agreement.
  • Drafting precedent service agreements and settlement agreements for a variety of clients.
