In her more than 10 years of practice, Beibei Xu has focused on international commercial arbitration, foreign-related arbitration in China and cross-border commercial dispute resolution. She has significant experience in assisting foreign clients and multinational companies to resolve China-related commercial disputes, as well as in assisting Chinese companies to deal with overseas commercial disputes. She has expertise in resolving joint venture disputes, banking and financial disputes, insurance disputes, aviation disputes and carbon emission disputes.
Beibei’s other key practice relates to product liability. In particular, she is responsible for advising on the defence strategy of product liability matters covering mainland China for a large luxury German automotive brand.

- Advising several foreign companies in a debenture-related dispute before a Beijing court.
- Advising and representing foreign aircraft lessors in aircraft lease disputes before various Chinese courts.
- Advising applicants or respondents in the proceedings of recognising and enforcing foreign arbitration before a Chinese court.
- Advising insurance companies in processing the insurance claims under various insurance policies.
- Advising Chinese companies and foreign companies in their disputes regarding carbon emission reduction purchase agreements.
- Advising an SOE in litigation before a New York court and coordinating with the US lawyer in matters of service of process, discovery and production of evidence through the Hague Convention.
- Counselling a PRC-listed company in litigation before a Minnesota court and assisting in collecting evidence from China for the client in the discovery.
- Counselling a PRC company in potential SEC litigation/investigation and securities class action.
- Counselling a UK citizen in a CIETAC arbitration involving facility agreements.
