Associate Brandon Roman will be a panelist at the National LGBT Bar Association's 2015 Lavender Law Conference. The session he will participate in is titled, "Lawyering Toward Equality: How Law Firms Can Support the Legal Needs of Trans Communities."
The panel will discuss how lawyers and law firms are engaging with trans communities to support their legal needs. It will examine how law firms create resources needed by organizations to serve their communities and how attorneys and law firms can get involved in advancing equality for transgender individuals through pro bono service.
