We are proud to be participating in a Houston Bar Association – International Law Section webinar titled “ESG Movement.”
Partner David Saltzman will be participating in a discussion about the many topics and issues that fall under the environmental, social and governance (ESG) umbrella.
ESG issues are broad and include new regulations and reporting requirements around sustainability, such as the new US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) climate rule on carbon emissions, waste and extended producer responsibility (EPR), human rights and worker welfare, cybersecurity, data privacy, and bribery and corruption, among other areas.
The panel will discuss the following topics:
- ESG movement – What do we see today?
- Global trends – Change from “nice-to-have” to “must-have.”
- Managing ESG expectations and requirements.
