International Arbitration in Times of Economic Nationalism – Book Launch and Panel Discussion

Join us for a panel discussion celebrating the launch of International Arbitration in Times of Economic Nationalism, a well-timed book that reviews situations which may impact the way arbitration – in both commercial and investment disputes – is practiced. In recent years, developments across the world evidence states’ increasing skepticism about the benefits of international cooperation and dispute resolution through arbitration. This questions the efficiency of international economic law comprehended as a multilateral set of rules binding on all states equally. The book critically analyzes these trends and provides ideas on how international arbitration may overcome the contemporary obstacles.
