In partnership with Turner & Townsend, we are delighted to invite you to join us for our Sustainable Procurement and Supply Chain Roundtable.

Private and public sector entities are increasingly recognising sustainability pressures, such as climate change, resource depletion and workforce security, as threats to their current and future viability, particularly where enterprises operate extended and complex supply chains. In addition to having the potential to cause reputational damage, pressures can impact on already narrow margins and challenge operational effectiveness. At the same time, legislative change is making new and increasing demands on already strained global supply chains.

In this roundtable, we will discuss the practical and legal challenges of sustainable procurement, both in the public and private sectors.

Topics for discussion will include:

• The impact of environmental regulation, such as the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive
• Supply chain compliance, including modern slavery and anticorruption
• Social value and carbon reduction in public procurement
• Implementing meaningful sustainability objectives in practice
• Horizon scanning – the policy agenda in commercial and public sustainable procurement
