Two major changes to residential lettings will transform the market within the foreseeable future: the Renters' Rights Bill, giving greater rights to residential tenants, is looking likely to become law before the end of the year; and a new version of commonhold (an alternative model to traditional renting arrangements, which is a form of freehold ownership of individual units within a building or larger development) is in the making.
