Financial News has recognized the firm’s Global Head of Financial Services Regulation Monica Gogna in its second annual South Asian Power Brokers list, a celebration of the most influential leaders of South Asian heritage transforming finance and business worldwide.
The list identifies trailblazers, from the boardrooms of the world’s biggest banks to the highest ranks of financial and professional services, who are driving change, breaking barriers and paving the way for the next generation.
As global head of financial services regulation, Monica “advises clients on cross-border policy, regulation and strategic projects.” Monica’s career has also “spanned law firms, consulting and policy, working at the intersection of business, markets and regulation,” and she has “co-authored the UK Finance roadmap for a digital gilt, helping pave the way for a government pilot.”
Monica Gogna, and fellow honorees of the South Asian Power Brokers list, will join Dame Julia Hoggett, chief executive of the London Stock Exchange, Krishna Omkar, head of global sponsors and institutional investors, London Stock Exchange, and Shruti Tripathi Chopra, editor in chief of Financial News and Private Equity News at Dow Jones on the balcony of the London Stock Exchange on 29 October for the Market Close ceremony, followed by a Diwali reception.
