For the fifth consecutive year, Squire Patton Boggs will receive the Beacon of Justice Award from The National Legal Aid & Defender Association (NLADA). The award will be presented at NLADA’s annual Exemplar Gala in recognition of the firm’s commitment to innovative and impactful pro bono and public service.
The Beacon of Justice Awards honor firms that have demonstrated outstanding leadership, vision, dedication, and achievement in advancing equal justice.
In 2025, Squire continued its work on a diverse range of pro bono matters – from obtaining a favorable ruling for a client before the U.S. Supreme Court, to our work on behalf of the Muscogee Creek Freedman, and to our constitutional rights advocacy by our best-in-class appellate team. The firm’s Public Service Initiative, our pro bono criminal justice practice group, also handled several consequential innocence and death penalty litigation cases.
Founded in 1911, NLADA is America’s oldest and largest nonprofit association devoted to excellence in the delivery of legal services to those who cannot afford counsel.
