Squire Patton Boggs has appointed Corporate partner Selma Baouch as office managing partner in Amsterdam.

Selma is an experienced corporate lawyer with an extensive track-record in corporate/M&A transactions, with a focus on investor-driven transactions.  Selma particularly advises multinational enterprises on national and international mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate restructuring and reorganisations, shareholder agreements, international financial transactions and general corporate law issues.

“Since we launched two years ago, our work with local clients doing cross-border projects, and our involvement in supporting international clients with a vital presence in Netherlands, have grown substantially,” said Selma. “I’m pleased to be taking the office forward to the next phase of development, with a focus on growing our team.”

Opened in February 2024, the firm’s Amsterdam office offers highly specialized corporate and transactional legal services, particularly M&A, private equity and foreign direct investment.  The team focuses on assisting domestic and international companies on a diverse range of domestic and cross-border matters and in 2025 added specialist employment law capabilities.
