Squire Patton Boggs has advised H2 Equity Partners and the management team of Global Vehicle Group (GVG) on the sale of the company to private equity firm Palladian Investment Partners, who will back the existing management who remain as significant shareholders. The transaction is subject to certain customary closing conditions and is expected to complete later in 2026.
The team advising H2 Equity Partners was led by Corporate Partners Paul Mann and David Milne and included Director Louise Parker, Senior Associates Mona Mojtabavi and Harry Hobson and Associates Harry Jackson and Chetan Mistry.
GVG is the UK’s largest and most diverse B2B leasing broker, focusing principally on van leasing and the SME market. Through the company’s specialist brands – Global Vans, XLCR, LCV and Fleet Alliance – GVG manages over 70,000 vehicles.
Squire Patton Boggs previously advised H2 Equity Partners on its investment in GVG alongside the Group’s two founders in 2022. The business has made great progress since and has tripled profitability, significantly increasing market share and customer retention rates as it has developed its market leading proposition and proprietary technology. Through strategic acquisitions the business has added breadth with a compelling offer to larger fleets.
Following H2’s initial investment in GVG, Squire Patton Boggs advised GVG on two of its strategic bolt-on acquisitions, being the acquisition of XLCR Vehicle Management in December 2023 and Fleet Alliance in June 2025.
Simon Gilbert, Senior Partner at H2 Equity Partners, said: “The Squire Patton Boggs team
has been a trusted adviser from our initial investment in GVG through to our exit. Their strong knowledge of the business, proactive and commercially minded advice helped us navigate the transaction efficiently and achieve an excellent outcome.”
Paul Mann added: “It was a pleasure to work alongside H2 Equity Partners once again, supporting their successful exit while also advising the management team of GVG on the investment by Palladian Investment Partners. We are proud to have played a role in this important milestone for GVG and look forward to seeing the business continue to thrive and achieve further growth in the years ahead.”
