Squire Patton Boggs was crowned “National Legal Team of the Year” at TheBusinessDesk’s Yorkshire Rainmaker Awards for an unprecedented third successive year, with Jonathan Jones also honoured with the inaugural “Lifetime Achievement” Award.

In the deal awards, the firm also won “Early-Stage Deal of the Year” for advising on YFM Equity Partners’ investment in S4 Labour, and “Large Deal of the Year” for Macquarie Group’s investment in UniHomes.

Partners Paul Mann and Mae Salem were shortlisted for “Rainmaker of the Year,” and Hannah Crosland was shortlisted for “Changemaker of the Year.”

Hannah Kendrick, who leads the Corporate team, said: “We are incredibly proud to have been named National Legal Team of the Year for a third consecutive year. Achieving this recognition once is a privilege; to retain it three times speaks to the consistency, quality and impact of our work across the market.

“I am delighted for our team and for Jonathan, whose Lifetime Achievement award is a fitting tribute to the impact he has had on the corporate finance community over many years.”
