Global law firm Squire Patton Boggs is pleased to announce the addition of Jennifer A. Goedke to the firm’s Public Policy Practice. She joins the firm as a principal, bringing more than 25 years of experience within the House Democratic Caucus, most recently serving as chief of staff for Rep. George Whitesides.

Ms. Goedke is a seasoned Capitol Hill leader with extensive experience shaping legislative strategy and navigating complex political environments. Known for her strategic judgment and ability to build durable, bipartisan relationships, she advised Members of Congress and senior staff. She previously served as chief of staff to Representative Jared Huffman, where she led policy development and high level stakeholder engagement, and as deputy chief of staff to Representative Mike Thompson, helping advance major legislative initiatives. In addition, Ms. Goedke held senior roles with members of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, the Blue Dog Coalition and the New Democrat Coalition.

Ms. Goedke earned a Master of Library and Information Science (MILS) from San Jose State University and her BA from Monmouth College.
